  • Advance Steel - Advance Steel was specifically developed for industry professionals that require a comprehensive and completely integrated package in AutoCAD. Advance Steel automates the entire structural CAD process (fabrication, erection drawings, various reports) and creates NC fabrication data in AutoCAD.
  • Column Base - Calculates capacity and stiffness of a connection between steel column and its concrete foundation. Both rolled and welded column sections can be investigated. Handles both embedded connections and connections made using base plate. Determines connection rigidity and performs rigidity classification (rigid joint, semi-rigid joint, or hinge).
  • DesconBrace - Descon Brace is a steel connection design software for Braced Frame type structures. It is a Windows based program with a graphical user interface for defining the input data and for reviewing the design drawing and calculation report. ASD and LRFD versions of Descon Brace are available. Both versions use the Uniform Force Method where it is applicable. Descon Brace designs Chevron, Knee, and K- Braces as well as braces connected to column base and Beam-Column joints where up to four braces and two beams may exist. Beams and braces may be added to or removed from the joint configuration by simple mouse operations. The section designations, material names, bolts, and welding electrodes are defined using pull-down menus and option buttons, and their data are automatically fetched from the program's database. Member forces are input by the user, and Descon Brace designs and/or checks the brace to gusset connection, gusset plates, gusset to beam and column connections, and the local stresses in the column and beams. Descon Brace creates and prints a scaled drawing showing the connection details. Callouts, dimension lines, and weld symbols can be moved to preferred locations in the drawing area with the mouse. Descon Brace creates a dxf file of the drawing for importing into CAD systems. Descon Brace generates a calculation report that includes the formulae in symbolic and numerical formats and the result of the computations. The design report can be reviewed on-line by opening the Report window. A GoTo command provides a fast jump to the calculations for specific items in the report.
  • DesconWin - DesconWin is a software program for designing beam-to-column connections, beam and column splices, and beam to girder connections, of steel buildings. Simple shear connections, and partially or fully restrained moment connections are included in DesconWin. ASD and LRFD versions, both in the U.S. units and Metric units, are available separately. DesconWin is a Windows based program and requires MS Windows 95 or higher. Input data is entered using pull-down lists, option buttons, and text boxes. On-screen and printed output includes a detailed calculation report and a drawing of the connection. DesconWin creates a DXF file of the designed connection to interface with CAD systems. DesconWin has a database of steel sections including W, M, S, and HP shapes. Users can add customized or non-standard sections to this database. DesconWin requires a minimum amount of data in the Design mode and allows the user to enter all pertinent data in the Check mode.
  • EBPLate - EBPlate software provides accurate values of elastic critical stresses for a wide field of practical cases of rectangular plates subject to in-plane loading. Plates can be either stiffened or unstiffened, the stiffening being provided by longitudinal and/or transverse stiffeners; orthotropic plates can also be treated. Complex stresses patterns can easily be defined, including patch loads. Numerous display possibilities are available for data and results. EBPlate tool was designed by CTICM in the frame of the european research project COMBRI (RFS-CR-03018), with partial funding of the Research Fund for Coal and Steel.
  • Fastrak - Analysis and design of steel buildings. Steel connections design.
  • MasterBeam Steel Beam Designer - Analysis and design of simple and continuous beams and sub frames with up to 16 spans according to BS 5950.
  • MasterKey Moment & Simple Connections - Design of steel connections. High level of user control is supplemented by intelligent automatic design.
  • MasterKey Steel Design - Interactive program for comprehensive design of steel sections (I-Sections, Hollow Sections, Angles, Channels, and Tees) according to the BS 5950.
  • MasterSteel - AutoCAD application with a set of tools for accurate detailing of structural steelwork. Suitable for number of tasks ranging from setting-up a general arrangement to the production of fabrication drawings.
  • Plate I-Girder Section - Calculates noncomposite and composite (for modular ratios n and 3n) section properties for steel I-girders with concrete deck. Calculates cumulative stresses at critical locations for loads applied to noncomposite and composite sections. Detailed calculations for determination of flexural and shear capacity according to AASHTO LRFD, 3rd Edition, 2004. Calculates plastic and yield moments. English units.
  • QUIKBEAM - Tool for design of steel beams and composite construction.
  • QUIKJOINT - Comprehensive program for design of steel connections.
  • quickEC3 - Training tool for EN 1993-1-1 (EC3), quikEC3 is useful electronic blue book which can calculate properties, section classifications and structural capacities for a wide range of section shapes, using EC3 terminology. A database of all major worldwide steel sections is included but custom tables are easily built for non-standard sections. In addition, the program calculates the following: section classifications for axial, y bending, z bending (for non-symmetrical sections, classification is carried out for either top, bottom, left or right of section in compression depending upon section orientation). Calculation of effective section properties for class4 (slender) sections including any shift in neutral axis. Section capacity checks: axial tension, axial compression, moment, low shear, high shear, moment and shear, moment with axial, moment axial and shear for both Y and Z axis bending. Class 1, 2, 3 and 4 (slender) sections are covered. Combined axial, X moment and Y moment capacity checks.
  • RCAD Steel - RCAD is a new leading edge solution for the modeling and drafting of steel and concrete structures. RCAD can be used in a variety of situations and, built upon the philosophy of integrated solutions, allows the user to benefit from a truly seamless integration of drafting, analysis and design. RCAD software is a solution completely integrated with Autodesk products and may be used with both AutoCAD and Architectural Desktop. As with all RCAD products, the complete range of AutoCAD/ADT commands are available at any time. RCAD Steel allows users to easily define steel structures inside AutoCAD/ADT. The software has a full library of steel sections from around the world and also has various "macros" built in as standard to facilitate the simple generations of standard details, such as connections, staircases and handrails. Facilities also exist to produce simple general arrangement details or even more detailed shop drawings. However, arguably the strongest part of the solution is the ability of RCAD Steel to integrate with ROBOT Millennium analysis and design software, thereby providing a single solution for drawing, analysis, design and final detailing. A typical practical example of this could be that the draftsman would set up a drawing in RCAD Steel, the engineer would then work on the integrated ROBOT file and maybe make some changes to the section sizes used and then the draftsman would benefit from a "seamless" update of the drawing file that could then be taken further to produce final drawings. The benefits, both in terms of time saved and also accuracy, are obvious.
