  • Allplan - Nemetschek Allplan provides object-oriented planning and design software for architects and engineers. It enables users to create architectural and structure models, as well as obtain information on quantities and costs throughout all project phases. What makes this software special is that you can switch between 2D drafting and 3D modeling depending on the project phase or type. In this way, you can combine the best of both worlds and use the approach that suits you best at any time.
  • Beam on Winkler Foundation - Finite element analysis for a beam on elastic foundation. Beam consists of nodes and members. Automatic generation of non loaded additional nodes. Up to 8 loading cases, up to 15 loading combinations. Each node may have vertical movement and/or twist restrictions. Vertical nodal loads, moment nodal loads. Each member may have a different geometry, elastic properties, modulus of subgrade reaction, Ks, and UDL load. Calculates deflections, soil stresses, bending moments, shear forces, node restriction reactions for each load combination or envelopes for the above. Generates deflection, bending moment and shear force diagrams (combinations and envelopes). Paged printing in tables with linked over pages tables always having labels above.
  • Cold-Formed Steel BeamDesign - Cold-Formed Steel BeamDesign is a software for the design of flexural members of Cold-Formed Steel, following AISI 2001 and 1996/99 Specifications. The principal aim is to analyze a simple or continuous beam (2 to 4 equal spans) and to determine the permitted load (Uniform or Concentrated Load allowed) carrying capacity, while varying the span length (L). Also you can compare one section and two different steels, or two sections with the same steel. Fourteen different sections are allowed (C, U, Z, ZU, L, LU, H, BR, BS, IC, CC, IU, T, and TU), with selected Steels (14 ASTM Referenced Standards Steels are provided as a guide). In the current (January 2009) version we add tables for the following manufacturers: Dietrich, Marino-Ware and SSMA.
  • DesconBrace - Descon Brace is a steel connection design software for Braced Frame type structures. It is a Windows based program with a graphical user interface for defining the input data and for reviewing the design drawing and calculation report. ASD and LRFD versions of Descon Brace are available. Both versions use the Uniform Force Method where it is applicable. Descon Brace designs Chevron, Knee, and K- Braces as well as braces connected to column base and Beam-Column joints where up to four braces and two beams may exist. Beams and braces may be added to or removed from the joint configuration by simple mouse operations. The section designations, material names, bolts, and welding electrodes are defined using pull-down menus and option buttons, and their data are automatically fetched from the program's database. Member forces are input by the user, and Descon Brace designs and/or checks the brace to gusset connection, gusset plates, gusset to beam and column connections, and the local stresses in the column and beams. Descon Brace creates and prints a scaled drawing showing the connection details. Callouts, dimension lines, and weld symbols can be moved to preferred locations in the drawing area with the mouse. Descon Brace creates a dxf file of the drawing for importing into CAD systems. Descon Brace generates a calculation report that includes the formulae in symbolic and numerical formats and the result of the computations. The design report can be reviewed on-line by opening the Report window. A GoTo command provides a fast jump to the calculations for specific items in the report.
