A formula for finding the exact volume of a prismoid.

$V={\frac {l}{6}}(A_{1}+A_{2}+4M)$

where

$A_{1}$ = area of one base

$A_{2}$ = area of other base

$M$ = area of middle section parallel to bases

$l$ = distance between bases

$V$ = volume
